Birsa Seva Prakalp is a non-profit, non-government voluntary organization (NGO) that works primarily with the slum population in Bihar and Jharkhand to improve children’s education and women’s empowerment through skill development.

Birsa also works in the field of health and human services and humanitarian relief during flood and other natural calamity in Bihar.

“To empower and lift up the lives of the poor and disadvantaged living in difficult circumstances, while emphasizes the dignity of each person and the right to equal opportunity through self-development.”
