Bharat Kalyan Pratishthan
In the month of July-August 2020, eight districts of north Bihar were severely affected by flood water. Out of eight districts, we could reach out to six districts to provide essential items to the families for day-to-day life.
We could reach out to 150 families in Jhanjharpur district, 50 in Barsoi, 50 in Shivhar, 200 in Muzaffarpur, 250 in Begusarai and 300 families in Gopalganj.
Each packet served to 1000 families included:
- 1 Tirpole
- 10kg Poha (smashed rice)
- 1kg Gud (Jaggery)
- 2 packets Candle
- 2 packets Matchbox
- 1 Solar light
- 1 towel
Packets were distributed among 20 blocks of above 6 districts.
We will always remain grateful to Bharat Kalyan Pratishthan, New Delhi and its secretary Shri Nandlal Lohiya ji for providing required financial assistance to Birsa Seva Prakalp on time and make it possible.
A similar funding was provided by Bharat Kalyan Pratishthan in 2019 also and around 3200 families could be served in the districts of
